We are delighted to announce a new partnership with the Design Council, bringing their Skills for Planet blueprint into the Design Compass. This integration will officially launch at the World Design Congress on 9th September.
By embedding the Skills for Planet blueprint into the Design Compass, we are connecting a world-leading knowledge base directly into a practical tool for designers, students, and industry. This means sustainability skills can be put into action on live projects, making it easier to:
- Put sustainability skills into practice on real design challenges.
- Identify and develop capabilities needed to design for people and planet.
- Explore real-world case studies that bring Skills for Planet principles to life.
Case studies from the blueprint will be featured throughout the Design Compass, appearing in the relevant skill areas to show how the principles translate into practice. This makes the Compass not only a guide for sustainable decision-making but also a resource for developing the skills to make those decisions possible.
This integration ensures the framework continues to inspire and guide designers worldwide — turning vision into practice.
