The Design Compass at the World Design Congress

We recently attended the World Design Congress, hosted by the Design Council at the Barbican Centre, where we introduced the Design Compass to the global design community.

The congress provided a rich environment where designers and leaders came together through inspirational keynotes, provocative discussions, intimate conversations, and dynamic workshops. What stood out most was the shared recognition of a growing urgency: to design for a world in crisis. Across the event, there were powerful conversations about collective action and regenerative thinking themes that resonate deeply with our mission.

The Design Compass was received with enthusiasm, as a practical tool that helps ensure product ideas are not only creative, but also marketable, sustainable, and socially responsible. It sparked real interest as a way to support decision-making and innovation, and it was inspiring to see how much it resonated with so many of you.

We left the congress energised by these conversations, we will continue to shape the evolution of the Design Compass and, more broadly, the role of design in tackling today’s global challenges.

This experience has reaffirmed our belief that design has the power to drive meaningful change — and that tools like the Design Compass can help guide that journey.
